Ley Hill Cottage in Doveridge is a pretty mid-row cottage in the Derbyshire countryside near Uttoxeter and the market town of Ashbourne. Our comfortable and cosy two bedroom cottage is the middle cottage in a row of three and offers homely self-catering accommodation for up to four people in two spacious bedrooms. The village of Doveridge sits close to the border between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The village is roughly ten minutes drive along the A50 from the centre of the historic market town of Uttoxeter, and boasts a pub serving meals and a village shop where you can pick up supplies. The cities of Stoke-on-Trent and Derby are around half an hour's drive to the west and east of the village respectively and there is plenty to see and to in between. The area boasts plenty of places for walking/hiking, cycling and horse riding as well as golf with several courses within a twenty mile radius. The theme park resort of Alton Towers is approximately ten miles away and the Peak District National Park is accessible just over minutes away via Ashbourne.

Ley Hill Cottage is a two storey property comprising of a spacious ensuite double and generously sized twin bedroom on the first floor, and on the ground floor there is a family bathroom; a cosy sitting room with two sofas, a small library of books, a television with DVD player and a CD/Radio. Finally there is a fully-functional kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.

Our compact but well-furnished and equipped cottage also boast a shared outside space for guests to use. There's a lawned garden with patio area and outdoor furniture, a barbecue and a trampoline for the kids. There is also an uncovered pond, so guests with small children should beware. We offer a washing service for a small additional charge, and supply all towels and bedding (and electric blankets on request) free of charge.
