Ideal for couples and with space for a cot, the property sits in the heart of Summer Wine Country and is a 200 year old stone cottage boasting enchanting features including a mock woodburning stove and light and airy open plan living space. Ideally situated for exploring the Pennines and the Peak District National Park, our charming cottage nestles just a short walk from Holmfirth centre shops, cinema and inns.
Accommodating two guests, living space includes one double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over. Open plan in style, the sitting room area has a dining table, electric woodburner and comfy, homely seating and decor. Two colour TVs, both with Freeview, are available in the cottage alongside a DVD player, a selection of books and games and a CD radio. In the fitted kitchen area is an electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, a washing machine and dishwasher plus a fridge freezer.
Families are welcome, with restaurants, cafes and Last of the Summer Wine sites and exhibits all within walking distance in Holmfirth centre. We provide family facilities including a cot and a high chair and ample roadside parking is to the front of the property. Relax and enjoy alfresco dining and drinks in the pretty patio area with outdoor furniture. The cottage is just a one minute walk from a shop and only a ten minute walk from a Yorkshire real ale pub. The spectacular Holme Valley in the surrounding area boasts a choice of stunning walks.
