Chef proprietor Tim Bilton, who trained under the legendary Raymond Blanc, has recently transformed this beautiful Grade II Listed pub – set in the chocolate box village of Hepworth in the heart of the Pennines – into a vibrant and award-winning dining pub, with a menu bursting with produce that's Yorkshire-grown and made.

The Butchers Arms is proud of its policy to use only ingredients from within a 75 miles radius so the menu is super seasonal, super sustainable and super scrumptious. At the Butchers Arms at Hepworth all food is locally sourced and guests can choose from delights such as Round Green Farm Venison, Yummy Yorkshire ice-cream or game from the Hepworth shoot. Chef proprietor Timothy Bilton has very quickly built a strong reputation and following for his modern take on British dishes using quality locally sourced ingredients all served up in the cosy friendly atmosphere of this destination 'gastro' pub. Main dishes from the a la Carte menu may include: Butchers Arms Plate of Pig - Confit belly, pan fried fillet, roast Yorkshire black pudding, Italian sausage, bramley apple sauce, Chorizo and white bean cassoulet, sage gravy and crispy onions. Pan seared sea bream with a broth of saffron, leeks, lemon, spinach, potatoes and fresh garden herbs or possibly Roast Rump of Sally Hampshire's Hepworth lamb with Fondant potato, roast hot house baby gem lettuce, pea and broad bean cream, apple and geranium jelly and garden thyme jus. Delicious puddings and sweets include: Chocolate and caramel tart with burnt orange custard, Sharrow Bay's Sticky Toffee Pudding or maybe Vanilla bean Panna cotta with poached spiced plums and short bread. With a huge selection of menus, drinks, sweets and cheeses, The Butchers Arms has a dish to suit all tastes.
